I created this resource page to quickly list recommended services, products, and companies that I use and/or those I know are valuable. This way you can quickly find great products and services.

Uber
If you are looking for an affordable ride, I have a coupon for $5 off your first ride through Uber. I connect my Paypal account to it so that my payments are withdrawn from my debit card rather than my credit card. The Uber coupon code is “fonnas” and you will get $5 off your first ride.
Wealthsimple
You know the phrase “pay yourself first”? I use Wealthsimple to pay myself first. As soon as any money comes in from invoices, I open my Wealthsimple app and transfer 10% of my pay to this account. It is an account that I rarely look at. It was my real gateway drug to investing.
GoTranscript
In order to make my content more accessible, I use GoTranscript to transcribe my audio and video content. Turnovers have been faster than 5 business days and as quick as submitting my order, going to sleep, and it is ready the next morning when i check my emails. Outsourcing the work has made my life significantly easier because I can shift my focus on other action items that I love doing!

AirBNB
Some of my best experiences has been in AirBNBs.
2016 I stayed in a quaint little home in Merced, California on my way to Yosemite to go on a yoga and hiking retreat.
Also in 2016, I stayed in Oakland, California with one of my beloved friends.
In 2019, Adornment Stories had a fabulous retreat in Toronto!
If you have a trip coming up (or need a home away from home, even if you have a staycation), I highly recommend AirBNB as your next stay and an alternative to hotels or hostels.
Studio Binder
I use this all inclusive tool for narrative films that I work on. My first real project was in 2018 when I used it to breakdown the script for Erin’s Guide to Kissing Girls (feature) in order to apply for the Telefilm funding and then again in 2019 when breaking down the script for Disclosure (short). Since then, I’ve been using it consistently for narrative film productions that I work on. I highly recommend it for anyone that is going into narrative filmmaking.
Mint
This is my favourite tool to give me an overview of my day-to-day bank accounts. I’ve intentionally added my credit cards and OSAP accounts into the app so that it keeps me on my toes about how much debt I have and it also helps me categorize my spending.
In some of my previous projects, I used Voice123 to collect some fantastic auditions with voiceover actors. Their service has a large talent pool and the performers offer really fast turn-around times in sending in their custom auditions. I recommend Voice123 if you are looking for a wide range of voiceover talent.
